The Zulus often name places in terms of associated life experiences. "Injasuthi" means "satisfied dog", as in "well fed", in Zulu, and applies to the greater and lesser Injasuthi Buttresses, and Injasuthi Dome, in the Kwa-Zulu Natal Drakensberg. According to tradition, Zulu hunters found enough game in the area to feed both themselves and their canine companions. Through this blog, I hope to keep the hungry dogs at bay.
